Eh, Whatsa Matta For You?
Friday, June 13, 2008 at 10:20PM Today I am the one who is wiped out! Tonight and tomorrow night the youth are performing a dinner theater production called "Meet Me at Luigi's". All the proceeds are going towards the mission trip to Mexico, so Marissa and I signed up to help. She was a server, and I worked in the kitchen. Specifically on drinks. Sounds easy, right? Yeah...well, picture 20 teenagers asking for for pitchers of water or punch. At the same time. I am now a pro at filling pitchers with ice and a beverage at an amazing speed. And, I didn't spill a single one! Marissa and the teens were awesome servers too. Very professional. It was a huge success, but as with every well planned out function, something always comes up. Tonight it was 16 people purchasing tickets at the door, and having to set up 4 more tables to accomodate them. Within ten minutes they had the tables set up, the place settings out, decorations on, and candles lit. Pretty amazing! And, tomorrow night we have to get to do it all over again. Seriously, it went well, but I am so very tired.

If it had been me, there probably would have been water and punch everywhere! You should have a system in place and be all set for tonight. Enjoy!
